Introducing: Q Timex
Enter the Q Timex. The primary quartz watch from Timex was produced in 1972, and by the point this mannequin was launched in 1979 it was clear that quartz was right here to remain. Not solely did it comply with the quartz development, it adopted some main design parts that had come to outline the ‘70s, too, with a woven chrome steel bracelet, squared-off and beveled case, and a GMT Grasp-inspired bezel (which on the Q rotates, non-ratcheting, in each instructions). The Q watches proudly displayed “Q” branding at 12 o’clock to let everybody know that everyman Timex watches had formally moved into the quartz period.
