HOW TO BE ON THE MOON
Adventurous Anna and cautious
Crocodile make a journey to the moon and again to Earth.
Anna needs to go to the moon, however
Crocodile warns, “It will likely be nearly inconceivable.” Undeterred, Anna responds, “I
like that.…Let’s go!” Crocodile finds a hold-up at each flip. They want “particular
expertise,” like math. Fortunately, Anna can rely backward from 5. They want heaps
of endurance. (“And now?” seems reverse “No” or “Nonetheless not” 9 instances in
humorous, eye-catching columns.) Anna figures Crocodile’s endurance can do for them
each. Crocodile makes the sandwiches whereas Anna builds the rocket, they usually
blast off. They play a sport within the no-gravity zone, and after a brief nap, they
land on the moon. From the moon, Anna decides that “Poor Earth” misses them,
they usually head again dwelling. Watercolor illustrations present brown-skinned,
puffy-black-haired Anna, green-skinned Crocodile, and their colourful, patchwork
confection of a rocket towards white area at dwelling and towards deep, darkish,
star-studded skies on their journey. The moon and Earth are rendered in
intriguing textural and colour mixtures. The distinction between Anna’s and
Crocodile’s personalities permits audiences of various inclinations a method into
