FiFi Award profitable Steve DeMercado and Michael Simpson have been collaborators, workmates, rock & roll bandmates, and nice mates for 20 years. They have been CaFleureBon’s 144th American Perfumers that have been featured in our ÇaFleureBon Profiles collection final month . What’s particular about their new assortment of 5 fragrances is that they craft trustworthy, easy, artisanal perfume, in small batches which are then aged in American oak barrels “seasoned” with components particularly chosen to work together with the unique scent. Steve displays the getting old course of, simply as a grasp distiller would, till he feels that oak barrel has labored its magic.

After I acquired my samples I instantly gravitated to 2: OK Fragrances PRO Patchouli and VBO Double Vanilla. I used to be so impressed (particularly with OK Fragrances PRO Patchouli on each my pores and skin and on y boyfriend’s who wears it not less than 3x every week recently), that I steered that Editor Sebastian Jara pattern the road and select his two favorites.
