The tons run the gamut, with a powerful displaying of earlier Speedmaster, like Lot 10, a reference 2915-1; the very first Speedmaster. Launched in 1957, this reference, with a base 1000 bezel in metal, is the archetypal sports activities watch in some ways. It was developed for timing car racing, featured a radium-lumed dial, and extremely legible Broad Arrow fingers, and was powered by the legendary caliber 321. The watch launched the design aspect of a hard and fast bezel mounted on the outside of the look ahead to the most effective usability.
