Carine Roitfeld, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, has launched Carine Roitfeld Parfums. The model debuts with seven unisex fragrances: Aurélien, George, Kar-Wai, Lawrence, Orson, Sebastian and Vladimir.

By means of seven fascinating fragrances personifying seven unforgettable lovers in seven iconic cities, Carine evokes the lifetime of journey and sensuality that has guided her to the furthest reaches of the world. Seductive and emblematic like the lads who impressed them, the fragrances symbolize her insatiable quest for love, ardour, expertise and love.

Aurélien ~ “A part of famend French editor Carine Roitfeld’s first enterprise into fragrances, this ‘Aurélien’ Eau de Parfum is impressed by an unforgettable lover from Paris – she recollects: “We strolled among the many orange timber close to the Sacré Cœur, my harmful heels dancing on the cobblestones…” An opulent and heat scent, it opens with a Citrus mix that results in a deep coronary heart of Davana Oil and Myrrh. Opening with candy and peppery notes of Tolu Balsam Resinoid, this genderless perfume is layered with Jasmine and heat Oud for a musky coronary heart. Orson ~ “Carine Roitfeld’s assortment of fragrances explores the connection between scent and reminiscence, specializing in actual and imagined lovers from seven iconic cities. Impressed by ‘Orson’ from New York, this female fragrance is alchemized with Hawthorn Flower, Benzoin and Tonka Bean notes that linger on the pores and skin for hours. Housed in a modern glass vessel, it is certain to make a long-lasting impression on somebody particular.” Further notes embody tuberose, ylang ylang, sandalwood and opoponax. Developed by perfumer Aurélien Guichard.

Sebastian ~ “…the previous Vogue Paris editor-in-chief envisages bumping into ‘Sebastian’ in Buenos Aires and dancing the tango collectively in an Argentinian café. Blended by French perfumers, the spicy perfume opens with Tuberose and Immortelle Flower layered with heady Sandalwood notes.” Further notes embody vanilla. Developed by perfumer Pascal Gaurin.

Vladimir ~ “The insert for her ‘Vladimir’ Eau de Parfum reads, “We slipped into the wings of the Mariinsky Theatre whereas the dancers warmed as much as the sound of Tchaikovsky.” Based mostly on the Russian metropolis of St. Petersburg, this wealthy Amber scent unfurls with notes of Frankincense and sweet-smelling Orris. It is offered in an equally darkish and mysterious glass bottle.” Further notes embody grapefruit, bergamot, sate, cedar and geranium.  Developed by perfumer Pascal Gaurin.
